Hi Sorry for this rudimentary question. I know another player is not allowed to 'backpass' the ball to their own goalie's hands. Is the goalie allowed out of the box, use their feet to bring the ball back into their box, then pick up the ball with their hands? Thanks for the clarification. Peter

Not if the ball is passed to him deliberately by a team player....example: the team player's accuracy is wayward when he passes to his keeper and it does not go into the PA. Then Keeper retrieves the ball with his feet and enters the PA but if he picks it up then it is IFK to the Opposition for "Keeper hand balling from a deliberate pass from a team member". |
